Laboratory Specialist Technician (Gene therapy for nervous system)
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor degree in Biotechnology, in Biomedicine, or similar.
Desired:
- Master in Biotechnology, in Biomedicine, or similar.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Experience (minimum 6 months) in both 2D and 3D cell cultures.
- Experience (minimum 6 months) in Maxipreps and minipreps as well as in other molecular biology techniques (WB, ELISAS, RTqPCR, etc), immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence.
- Experience (minimum 6 months) in immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence.
- Experience (minimum 6 months) chromatin isolation and immunoprecipitation, and RNA FISH.
Desired:
- Fluency in English
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Perform in vitro and in vivo experiments with gene therapy vectors.
- Write documents and report analysis.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 21K. Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
