Psychologist Researcher (Psychiatry, mental health and addictions)
The Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is seeking a Psychologist Researcher to join the Psychiatry, Mental Health, and Addictions Group. The selected candidate will contribute to a research project focused on bipolar disorder (BD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and will actively participate in clinical assessments, data analysis, and scientific dissemination.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Degree in Psychology.
- Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology.
- Oral and written fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (intermediate level).
Desired:
- Experience using statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, or Python).
- Additional training in clinical neuropsychology or related fields.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Experience in clinical research.
- Experience in Neuropsychology and psychiatric assessment.
- Experience in conducting clinical evaluations in psychiatric populations.
- Strong communication skills, motivation, and ability to work collaboratively within a research team.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- To collaborate on the study: “Bridging the gap in the study of bipolar disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: impact of cognitiVE reserve and funCtioning in a newly designed treatment intervenTion for comORbidity (VECTOR)”.
- To evaluate participants in research studies.
- To assist the research PIs (administrative tasks related to data management).
- To undertake literature searches, write papers (original articles and metanalyses). and present results at different scientific meetings.
Labour conditions:
- Part-time position: 20h/week.
- Starting date: immediate.
- Gross annual salary: 11.411,61 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
