Study Coordinator (Paediatric neurology)
VHIR offers a position for a young professional to collaborate with our group as Study Coordinator or sub-investigator in clinical trials, natural history studies and registries.
We are currently working with advanced therapies in rare metabolic disorders.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry or related fields
- Fluency in spoken and written English, Spanish and Catalan
- GCP certification
Desired:
- Specific/Additional training in clinical-trials monitoring, data entry and/or coordination in clinical trials
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of metabolic disorders and rare diseases
- Ability to use research database and clinical electronic files
- Good communication skills
- High motivation, initiative, responsibility, organisation and teamwork abilities
Desired:
- Publications and presentations at international conferences in the field
- Knowledge of lysosomal diseases
- Experience in writing and reviewing scientific publications
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Participation as study coordinator for clinical trials
- Support in observational research studies, national and international registries
- Support in reviews and writing
- Participation in Metabolic Unit meetings
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: January 2026
- Gross annual salary: 38.000,00-40.000,00 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
