Laboratory Technician (Gene Therapy Group for Nervous System)
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Certificate of Higher Education in: Biomedical Laboratory or Clinic Diagnostic Laboratory or similar
Desired:
- Fluency in Catalan (C1 preferable), Spanish, English
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Experience (minimum 1 year) in in commercial management and pre-analytical tasks in a biosanitary environment: biological sample reception and shipment, customer service, incident management and report elaboration
- Experience (minimum 1 year) in molecular biology and microbiology techniques
- Experience (minimum 2 years) working following Quality standards (ISO 9001:2015)
- Experience (minimum 2 years) in maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Experience (minimum 2 years) in preparations of reagents and material stocks
Desired:
- Experience in viral vector production processes
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate and manage activities related to customer services: orders, reports, satisfaction surveys, incident management
- Responsible of biological sample reception and shipment
- Generate and manage sample databases
- Perform molecular biology techniques
- Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment, stock of reagents and consumables
- Participation in viral vector production
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
