Head of Clinical Trials Operations
The Clinical Trials Operations Unit is seeking a Head of Unit who will be the point of reference for all the main researchers, Study Coordinators, Data Entries, and structural staff at VHIR in the field of clinical research. This unit will drive and oversee the implementation of the new Campus Clinical Research Management Model.
Educationions and qualifications:

- University degree in Life Sciences
Desired:
- Master in Clinical Research field
- Project Management
- PhD in Life Sciences
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 3 years of experience within clinical research and/or project management
- CTMS knowledge
- Experience in team/equipment management
- Health sector and/or biomedical research expertise
- Fluency in Spanish, Catalan, and English.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate and manage clinical study proposals to ensure the effective operational execution of activities for both the hospital and the clinical research teams.
- Collect and analyze the unit’s indicators (KPI, KQI, KRI) and share them with the relevant Management, as well as with the General Management and the respective teams.
- Coordinate and provide support to the Clinical Trial Valorization Unit (UVAC) to deliver accurate information on the progress of clinical studies (support staff, calibration, equipment purchase, activity registration, etc.).
- Optimise the process for identifying needs, requesting support staff, and handling administrative tasks derived from clinical research activities managed by the unit.
- Prepare and maintain a record of all operational activity reports of the unit, as well as indicators, presentations, database updates, and any other informational support documents related to the unit’s overall activity.
- Train staff in the operational aspects of clinical trials to improve the quality of their work and enhance their professional competencies.
- Supervise and maintain the competence of the staff under your responsibility.
- Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of internal workflows and administrative procedures for managing assigned personnel (approval of vacations, leave requests, compliance with occupational health and safety regulations).

- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
