Research Technician (Stroke Research)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Technician to join our Stroke Research Group. The successful candidate will support ongoing and upcoming research projects related to stroke treatment.

Education and qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences or similar.
Master’s Degree in Translational Biomedical Research or similar.
Fluency in Spanish.

Desired:

Specific training in Stroke Research.
Fluency in Catalan and English.

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

At least 1 year of experience relevant to the position.
Knowledge of ischemic stroke treatment.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Desired:

Knowledge of data management and statistics.
At least 1 published or submitted research paper/conference abstract.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Collect, process and manage data from study participants.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date study documentation and databases.
Ensure adherence to study protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, researchers and engineers.
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of study procedures.

Labour conditions:

Full-time position: 40h/week.
Starting date: July 2025.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities. Proyecto CPP2022-009778 (NexTOLL) financiado por MICIU/AEI /10.13039/501100011033 y por la Unión Europea NextGenerationEU/ PRTR
