Clinical Researcher (New Technologies and Craniofacial Microsurgery)
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Medical Degree.
- Specific/Additional training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish.
Desired:
- Specific/Additional training in Head and Neck Cancer, Oral cancer screening and diagnosis and Fanconi Anemia.
- Fluency in English (business level).
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 4 years of experience working in an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department.
- Knowledge of screening and diagnosis of Head and Neck Cancer, as well as managing patients with Fanconi Anemia.
- Ability to perform head and neck physical examination, perform oral biopsies and oral citology.
Desired:
- Knowledge of REDCap database.
- Ability to take blood and saliva samples.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate/Manage Fanconi Anemia patients attended in the outpatient clinic for oral cancer screening with oral cytology.
- Give support in/to performing physical examination, taking oral biopsies and oral cytology, and taking blood/saliva samples.
- Collaborate with the department of Pathology for sample processing and sending, at our center and external centers involved in the Project.
- Prepare/Organize outpatient clinic visits, test results and sample coordination, and data base collection.
- Analyze the data collected in REDCap database.
- Keep track of medical and managing aspects of the project.
Labour conditions:
- Part time position: 10h/week.
- Starting date: Immediate.
- Gross annual salary: 5.705,81euros. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
