Licensed Technician (HPB Surgery and Liver Transplant)

VHIR offers a vacant position for a Pediatrician or Pediatric Surgeon with special interest in Pediatric Rare diseases within the Group Hepato-bilio-pancreatic surgery (HBP) and liver transplantation.

Education and qualifications:

Required:

• University degree in Health Science preferred.
• High academic records
• Excellent written and oral communication in Catalan, Spanish and English.

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

• Moderate to high knowledge of statistics
• Previous Knowledge in Networks
• High motivation for a research career.
• Ability to work in a team and the responsibility and ability to achieve commitment to the work.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• The candidate will carry out experiment’s design, experimental work, results analysis and article writing in the context of a research group on hepatic rare diseases in children
• Participation in the teaching activities of the group.

Labour conditions:

Part-time position: 20h/week.
Starting date: October 2025
Gross salary: 15.705,29 € (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
