Research technician (Group of Biomedical Research in Gynecology)
VHIR is seeking to fill a vacancy for a Research Superior Technician position for the Group of Biomedical Research in Gynecology. The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented person capable of assist in routine laboratory procedures, including sample processing, preparation of reagents, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols, contributing to the day-to-day functioning of the lab and supporting experimental work under the supervision of senior researchers.

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related Life Sciences field.
- Fluency in English
Desired:
- Course of animal handling
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Previous experience in a translational research group
- Skilled in data analysis
- Good marks and/or authorship in publications
- Passionate, proactive, willing to learn and committed
Desired:
- Expertise in development of preclinical models (PDXs, PDOs) and in vivo preclinical studies
- Experience in proteomics: mass spectrometry, ELISA
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Participate in translational research projects to improve endometrial cancer diagnosis through biomarker research
- Personalized medicine projects on endometrial cancer using preclinical models
- Collaborate with other projects of the group, by promoting fruitful discussions or by helping in experimental work
- Participate in general activities of the group
- Support the principal researcher in managerial activities
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: 01/10/2025
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
