Clinical Researcher (HBP surgery and liver transplantation)
VHIR offers vacancy for a Pediatrician with special interest in Pediatric Hepatology within the HBP (Hepatobiliary-pancreatic) surgery and liver transplantation Research Group.
In particular, the group offers a contract to work on rare hepatic diseases in children.

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine
- Pediatric residency training completed
- Excellent written and oral communication in Catalan, Spanish and English.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Moderate to high knowledge of statistics
- Previous knowledge in networks
- High motivation for a research career
- Ability to work in a team and responsibility and commitment to the work
Main responsibilities and duties:
- The candidate will carry out experimental design, laboratory work, data analysis, and scientific writing within a research group focused on hepatic rare diseases in children.
- Participation in the teaching activities of the group.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: September, 2025
- Gross annual salary: 31.410,58 (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
