Research Technician (Childhood cancer and blood disorders)
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science
Desired:
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English
- Master’s degree
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 3 years of experience working in cancer research
- Knowledge of general molecular biology techniques
Desired:
- Basic knowledge of flow cytometry
- Experience and accreditation in the management of animal models
- Cell culture
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Provide support for the research carried out by the group in paediatric cancer.
- Molecular biology techniques for protein analysis.
- Gene expression analysis.
- Animal models and drug treatments.
- Cell culture.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
