Research Technician (Childhood cancer and blood disorders)

Education and qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Science

Desired:

Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English
Master’s degree

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

At least 3 years of experience working in cancer research
Knowledge of general molecular biology techniques

Desired:

Basic knowledge of flow cytometry
Experience and accreditation in the management of animal models
Cell culture

Main responsibilities and duties:

Provide support for the research carried out by the group in paediatric cancer.
Molecular biology techniques for protein analysis.
Gene expression analysis.
Animal models and drug treatments.
Cell culture.

Labour conditions:

Full-time position: 40h/week
Starting date: immediate
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
