Postdoctoral Researcher (Rheumatology)

VHIR offers a vacancy for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Psychology within the Rheumatology Research Group.

Education and qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
PhD in Psychology
Master’s in General Health Psychology (MUPGS)
Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (C1)

Desired:

Specific training in chronic pain

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

At least 5 years of experience working in research into chronic pain
Knowledge of chronic pain
Ability to write scientific articles and research projects in English and analyse data using statistical packages (e.g., SPSS)

Desired:

Knowledge of fibromyalgia
Ability to present research at scientific conferences

Main responsibilities and duties:

Coordinate/Manage pain research studies.
Provide support in data analysis, scientific writing and project acquisition.
Collaborate with the team in developing and implementing research studies.

Labour conditions:

Part-time position: 30h/week
Starting date: immediate
Gross annual salary: 20.500 – 21.500 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
