Laboratory Technician (Clinical biochemistry, drug delivery & therapy)
Laboratory technician for in vivo and in vitro experimentation.
VHIR offers a vacant position for a laboratory technician with experience in animal handling and experimentation (product administration, welfare monitoring, genotyping, etc.). The technician will also conduct in vitro experiments, so previous experience in molecular biology and cell culture techniques will also be highly valued.
The candidate will be hired within the ISCIII funded TACTIC project at the CB-DDT group to assist in its development as well as in general routine techniques and procedures in the lab. Our group is experienced in developing and testing a spectrum of nanomedicines in preclinical models. Within the TACTIC project such nano-platforms will be directed towards oncology indications, and the candidate’s main tasks will be to assist with the in vitro and in vivo efficacy, toxicology and pharmacokinetics assays.
In addition, the technician will also work with the FVPR/U20 service platform of the group. FVPR/U20 is dedicated to perform customised production and functional assays for the pre-clinical development of novel diagnostic or therapeutic compounds based on nanotechnology. FVPR/U20 is part of ICTS-Nanbiosis and operates in an ISO9001:2015 certified environment. The candidate will also perform tasks for the national and international projects of the CB-DDT group and contribute to the laboratory management.
