Clinical Trials Technician (Clinical neuroimmunology)
VHIR offers vacancy for coordination of clinical trials within the Neuroimmunology research group - Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Centre of Catalonia
The main objectives of the Clinical Neuroimmunology Group through research are to improve the quality of life of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients and attain a greater understanding of the pathogenic mechanisms, aiming to develop new and more effective therapeutic means. Other interests in research are: therapeutic tools in MS; disease susceptibility, diagnostic and prognostic markers in MS; study of the response to treatment in MS patients; clinical and radiological study of primary-progressive MS; epidemiology of MS; and patient-oriented outcomes.

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Degree in health sciences or a related field
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Desired:
- Specific training in chronic pain management
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Previous experience in clinical trials
- Experience in project management
Desired:
- Ability to work autonomously and capacity for teamwork with different professionals in the centre (medical doctors, nurses, etc)
- Good people skills
- Problem-solving
- A proactive attitude
Main responsibilities and duties:
- CRF data entry and monitoring
- Sample processing and shipment
- Perform various procedures with patients
- Schedule patient visits
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 27.600,00 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
