Clinical Researcher
VHIR offers a vacancy for a Clinical Researcher for a Clinical Trial within the Diabetes and Metabolism Research Group.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (business level)
Desired:
- Additional training in data management, databases and statistics
- MIR speciality in Endocrinology and Nutrition, Internal Medicine or Clinical Pharmacology
- Additional training in clinical trials
- Additional training in obesity clinical management
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Clinical Research professional in clinical trials
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Desired:
- Knowledge of how to manage electronic medical history registry: ARGOS, SAP
- Knowledge of e-CRF and management of clinical data related to clinical trials
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Subinvestigator in clinical trials in obesity.
- Perform medical visits related to the clinical trials in obesity, as per protocol: patient´s recruitment, signing of informed consent, physical examination, medical history, treatment adjustment, adverse events, serious adverse events, etc) under the supervision of the PI and study team.
- Collaborate with the medical team and study coordinators from our department and from other departments.
- Keep track of patients and biological samples and all study related procedures.
- Other tasks based on agreement with the PI in the research field. We also offer the possibility to participate in national and international meetings and other activities of the research group.
Labour conditions:
- Part-time position: 20h/week, related to study (with the possibility to increase up to 40h/week)
- Starting date: January 2026
- Gross annual salary: 21.976,39 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
