Postdoctoral Researcher
Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) offers a position for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Maternal and Fetal Medicine Research Group to apply for the Juan de la Cierva call 2025.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Human Biology, or related fields, or in Basic Sciences / Engineering with a Master in Biomedicine, with the ability to apply knowledge of human physiology and medicine to clinical research
- The doctoral thesis must have been defended and approved between 1 January 1 2024 and 31 December 2025
Desired:
- Good command of English, Spanish and Catalan for scientific writing, team communication and understanding clinical data
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Solid knowledge of statistics applied to clinical research (preferably with practical experience in data analysis, study design, or methodology)
- Interest in clinical research, teamwork, and the ability to take on tasks in writing, coordination, and project management
Main responsibilities and duties:
- We are seeking a candidate to join our Maternal and Fetal Medicine Group at VHIR. The selected person will provide support in:
- Drafting scientific protocols and reports;
- Statistical analysis and methodological support in clinical studies;
- Coordination of regulatory and logistical aspects of clinical studies;
- General support in clinical research in a dynamic environment, with the possibility of ongoing involvement in new projects.
This is a full-time position with flexible working hours and a hybrid working model (possibility of remote work). The team offers a collaborative working environment and good opportunities for professional development in clinical and translational research.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: January 2027
- Gross annual salary: According to the conditions established by the grant holder. Juan de la Cierva 2025 Contract Aid Program. An additional grant of 15,000 euros will be awarded to cover expenses directly related to the execution of their research activities.
