Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) offers a position for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Maternal and Fetal Medicine Research Group to apply for the Juan de la Cierva call 2025.

Education and qualifications:

Required:

• Degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Human Biology, or related fields, or in Basic Sciences / Engineering with a Master in Biomedicine, with the ability to apply knowledge of human physiology and medicine to clinical research
• The doctoral thesis must have been defended and approved between 1 January 1 2024 and 31 December 2025

Desired:

• Good command of English, Spanish and Catalan for scientific writing, team communication and understanding clinical data

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

• Solid knowledge of statistics applied to clinical research (preferably with practical experience in data analysis, study design, or methodology)
• Interest in clinical research, teamwork, and the ability to take on tasks in writing, coordination, and project management

Main responsibilities and duties:

• We are seeking a candidate to join our Maternal and Fetal Medicine Group at VHIR. The selected person will provide support in:
  • Drafting scientific protocols and reports;
  • Statistical analysis and methodological support in clinical studies;
  • Coordination of regulatory and logistical aspects of clinical studies;
  • General support in clinical research in a dynamic environment, with the possibility of ongoing involvement in new projects. 

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours and a hybrid working model (possibility of remote work). The team offers a collaborative working environment and good opportunities for professional development in clinical and translational research.
