Data Analyst
Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution, located in Barcelona (Spain) that promotes and develops innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron. VHIR is oriented towards finding solutions to the health problems of the citizens and has the will to contribute to the scientific, educational, social and economic development within its area of competence around the world.
VHIR offers a vacant position of data analyst and clinical researcher within the Stroke Research Group.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Health Sciences, or a related field.
· Fluency in English
Desired:
Fluency in Catalan and Spanish
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Training in data analysis, public health, or biostatistics.
Desired:
Proven experience working with clinical, epidemiological, or healthcare-related data.
Familiarity with healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., clinical data quality, health coding systems, health indicators).
Main responsibilities and duties:
Data preparation, curation, statistical analysis and presentation of results to non‑technical stakeholders.
Metadata preparation for uploading to public repository
Labour conditions:
Part-time position: 20h/week.
Starting date: immediate
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities (approximately 3 months)
