Research Technician
VHIR offers a vacant position for a Paediatrician or Paediatric Surgeon with special interest in Paediatric Rare diseases within the Hepato-bilio-pancreatic Surgery Group (HBP) and liver transplantation.
The Group of Hepato-bilio-pancreatic surgery (HBP) and liver transplantation offers a contract to work on rare hepatic diseases in children.

Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences preferred
Strong academic record
Excellent written and oral communication skills in Catalan, Spanish and English
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Moderate to high knowledge of statistics
Previous knowledge of networks
High motivation for a research career
Ability to work as part of a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
Main responsibilities and duties:
The candidate will carry out experiment’s design, experimental work, results analysis and article writing in the context of a research group on hepatic rare diseases in children.
Participation in the teaching activities of the group.
Labour conditions:
Part-time position
Starting date: immediate
Gross annual salary: 11.500,00 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
