Technician (Cardiovascular Diseases Research Group)
VHIR offers vacancy/vacant positions for an Administrative Technician of the Cardiovascular Diseases Research Group.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting and Finance, or similar; Vocational Training in Administration and Finance
Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, data analysis, etc.)

Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Knowledge of budget control and expense management.
Previous experience as an administrative assistant, junior financial controller, or project manager.
Experience in budget preparation and monitoring.
Ability to effectively maintain up-to-date and structured records in Excel/Word.
Desired:
Ability to prioritize tasks based on workload.
Analytical skills.
Organizational and planning skills.
Ability to manage diverse tasks and communicate effectively.
Familiarity with personnel contract matters.
Strict confidentiality and responsibility.

Main responsibilities and duties:
Coordination with HR for staff recruitment
Support for Principal Investigators (PIs) in staff recruitment
Collaboration with teaching staff to manage sponsorships for the Cardiology Department
Preparation of meeting minutes and expense reports for research staff
Budgetary control of commercial clinical trial accounts.
Registration and maintenance of VHIR-contracted service personnel
Budget forecasting and control of service accounts
Registration of commercial clinical trials
Registration of payments for commercial clinical trials
Labour conditions:
Full-time position: 37.5h/week.
Starting date: immediate.
Gross annual salary: 25.000 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
