Lawyer
VHIR offers a vacant position for a Lawyer with experience in different areas of the healthcare sector to join the Legal Unit.
The Legal Unit ensures regulatory compliance in all institutional activities, particularly in biomedical research and intellectual property matters. Its main objectives are: ensuring compliance in all institutional acts, especially those related to IP and biomedical research projects; advising the scientific community at VHIR on ongoing legal developments affecting biomedical research and the transfer of results to society; and providing legal support to the different services and units within VHIR.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Law Degree.
Full professional proficiency in Catalan, Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
Desired:
Master’s Degree.
Degree in Business Administration.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
2–5 years of professional experience.
Specific knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare law and/or previous experience in the field of biomedical research will be positively valued, particularly in clinical and preclinical research, technology transfer, and public or public-private funding agreements.
Excellent organizational skills, with a strong service-oriented and client-focused mindset.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Main responsibilities and duties:
Participate in the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts and amendments within the Legal Unit.
Advise the scientific community at VHIR on ongoing legal developments affecting biomedical research.
Labour conditions:
Full-time position: 37,5 h/week.
Starting date: immediate.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract: Permanent.
