The Maternal–Foetal Medicine Unit at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) conducts high‑impact clinical and translational research focused on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of high‑risk pregnancies. We are seeking a highly motivated Research Nurse with specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, interested in advancing scientific knowledge in multiple pregnancy and placental insufficiency and contributing to innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

• At least 8+ years’ experience in maternal and women’s healthcare

• Solid clinical expertise across labour ward, obstetric emergencies, high-risk pregnancy care, and postpartum support

• Knowledge of respectful maternity care and women-centred healthcare models

• Knowledge of gender-sensitive and rights-based approaches in maternal care

• Experience working within multidisciplinary clinical teams

• Ability to integrate clinical expertise with research and quality improvement activities

• Competence in clinical documentation, data collection, and structured reporting

• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
