Clinical Trials Assistant (Physiology and Pathophysiology of the Digestive Tract)

VHIR is seeking a Clinical Trials Assistant to join the Physiology and Pathophysiology of the Digestive Tract Research Group, within the area of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Coordinate/Manage clinical trials
Give support in extraction and processing of samples
Collaborate with data analysis
Proactive, dynamic and outstanding organizational skills are required
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Degree in Medicine, specialty in Gastroenterology
Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Experience in clinical and preclinical research activities
Experience in clinical monitoring of biological treatment in IBD
Experience with data acquisition software (IBD management program®)
Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and self-motivation
Ability to work independently and as a team
Desirable:
Knowledge of databases, statistical analysis
Accredited experience in clinical trials is desirable
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Part-time (30 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
Duration: 5 months
