Postdoctoral Researcher (Stroke Research)
Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Stroke Research Group. The successful candidate will contribute to the coordination of laboratory activities and support translational neurovascular research in close collaboration with clinical teams.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Coordinate and manage activities within the neurovascular research laboratory
Provide support to PhD students
Collaborate with clinical teams at the Hospital
Contribute to the preparation and organisation of grant applications
Analyse data and contribute to the preparation of scientific publications
Education and qualifications:
Required:
PhD/ Master’s degree
Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (professional proficiency)
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
At least 6 years of experience working in the neurovascular space.
Knowledge of neurovascular anatomy, acute stroke, endovascular treatments, neuroendovascular devices for the treatment of stroke.
Ability to generate machine learning analysis of medical images in the field of stroke, specifically working with non-contrast CT, CT-angiography and CTPerfusion files.
Labour conditions:
Part-time position: 10 hours per week.
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities.
