VHIR is seeking an experienced Laboratory & Quality Manager within the Rheumatology Research Group.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Education and qualifications:

Required:

• PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or a related field

• Advanced training in quality management systems, biobanking, or research governance will be considered an asset

• Strong command of written and spoken English, Catalan and Spanish

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

• Minimum of 18 years of professional experience in biomedical research and biobanking.

• Proven experience in the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems within a biomedical research environment.

• Solid understanding of ethical and regulatory frameworks governing biomedical research and biobanking.

• Proven experience interacting with Research Ethics Committees (CEIm) or equivalent bodies.

• Experience preparing scientific documentation, reports, and research project proposals.
