Postdoctoral Researcher (Rheumatology)
VHIR is looking for a Postdoctoral Research to join the Rheumatology Research Group.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Organising clinical trials and US projects.
Writing US protocols.
Dataset management.
Data integration and analysis.
Perform ultrasound studies for clinical trials and US projects.
Dissemination and communication tasks.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Medical doctor
Specialisation in Rheumatology
PhD in a relevant field
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
EULAR Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSUS) Competency Assessment – Level 1
Completion of a Basic or Intermediate MSUS Course accredited by a National Society
Desirable:
EULAR MSUS Competency Assessment – Level 2
Completion of an Advanced MSUS Course by a National Society- Recent publications (2 years) in Q1 Rheumatology journals, mainly focused in US techniques
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Previous participation in national research projects.
Expertise in dataset management and data analysis.
Specific focus on immune mediated inflammatory diseases (IMID) research with particular interest in rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis documented by publications.
Expertise in oral communications in congress.
Desirable:
Previous participation in international research projects as collaborator.
Previous acting as a principal investigator of research projects.
Experience with translational science.
Experience in teaching, learning and communication.
Expertise in advanced research in IMIDs using image technologies, like MSUS.
Labour conditions:
Full-time: 37,5 hours per week.
Starting date: As soon as possible
Gross annual salary: 40.000,00€
Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
