Clinical Researcher (Cardiovascular diseases)
VHIR is looking for a Clinical Researcher in Cardiovascular Imaging to join the Cardiovascular Diseases group. The primary responsibility of this role will be to annotate and validate echocardiograms and provide clinical knowledge as part of the Cardiac Imaging Unit.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Identification and inclusion of patients into the different research projects of the group.
Collection of clinical and demographic data and coordination of the performance of the various medical tests.
Clinical aspects related to bioengineering and data science work, including post-processing and analysis of different cardiac imaging studies.
Strict collaboration with the technical researchers of the cardiovascular imaging unit.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Medicine Degree
Specialisation in Cardiology
Additional training in echocardiography
Fluency in Catalan or Spanish (business level)
Desirable:
Fluency in English
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Experience with advanced echocardiographic imaging techniques.
Proficiency in using digital tools and software for medical imaging.
Research experience in cardiology or related fields
Experience in clinical echocardiography
Desirable:
Conference presentation
Labour conditions:
Full-time: 37,5 hours per week.
Starting date: April, 2026
Gross annual salary: 28.157,25€
Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
