Clinical Researcher (Pneumology)
The Pneumology Research Group is a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists committed to translating research into improved care for patients with respiratory disease. We are seeking a Medical Doctor to join our Research Program on Respiratory Diseases of Environmental Origin, with a focus on asthma and air pollution.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to basic and translational research in asthma and pollution.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Design and execution of experiments
Conduct biomarker assessments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, laboratory staff, and data analysts.
Analyse experimental data, including immunological and molecular biomarkers.
Contribute to database management and integration of clinical, environmental, and laboratory data.
Writing of scientific reports, abstracts, and manuscripts.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Medical Degree (no PhD required)
Fluency in Spanish and English (business level)
Desirable:
Organised and methodical person with high motivation and initiative
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Desirable:
Previous experience in radiology.
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Part-time (18.75 hours per week).
Starting date: May, 2026.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Open-ended contract linked to the project.
