Clinical trials pharmacy technician (Clinical pharmacology)
The Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is offering two temporary positions for Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technicians within the Clinical Trials Unit of the Pharmacy Service. The unit is responsible for the management of investigational medicinal products (IMPs) for all clinical trials conducted across the Vall d’Hebron Campus under the scope of VHIR.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Management of Investigational Medicinal Products, including reception, storage, accountability and dispensing.
Preparation of Investigational Medicinal Products (sterile and non-sterile)
Management and maintenance of drug accountability systems and software
Use and management Interactive Web Response Systems
Coordination and communication with study monitors and clinical research staff.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
CFGS (Higher Vocational Training) - FP2 Laboratory technician or equivalent
Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)
Desirable:
Training in Good Clinical Practices
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Minimum of 2 years’ of experience working in a Hospital Pharmacy setting.
Knowledge and practical experience working with laminar airflow cabinets.
Desirable:
Previous experience in the management of Investigational Medicinal Products within clinical trials.
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Gross annual salary: €22.000-26.000 (Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.)
