We are seeking a Clinical Researcher to join the Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Group at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). This group is dedicated to advancing clinical and translational research in neurodegenerative disorders, with a particular focus on Parkinson’s disease and related movement disorders. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, contributing to both clinical trials and observational studies—such as the VHIP cohort—while supporting patient-focused research aimed at improving diagnosis, risk stratification, and quality of life through innovative clinical and laboratory approaches.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Education and qualifications:

Required:

• Holds a degree in Medicine

• Completion of specialist training (MIR)

• Additional or specialised training in Neurology (Residency in Neurology completed by the Spanish Minister of Health program, desireable)

• Fluency in Spanish and English (professional proficiency)

Desirable:

• Additional or specialised training in Movement Disorders

• Computer user level (Office package, SAP, etc).

Experience and knowledge:

• Relevant clinical experience as a medically qualified professional.

• Experience in participation in research lines and/or projects.

• At least 4 years’ experience working in Neurology

• Knowledge of SAP management program.

• Capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Ability to work with new information and communication technologies (e.g APPs, wearable devices, remote monitoring).
