Predoctoral Researcher (Molecular Medical Imaging)
VHIR is looking for a highly motivated Predoctoral Researcher for the Molecular Imaging and Therapy Group to develop theragnosis in cancer based on PET imaging
Main responsibilities and duties:
Develop of immunoPET radiopharmaceuticals
Performance in vitro and in vivo experiments in the theragnosis field
Coordinate and support daily research activities within the scope of the project.
Collaborate with other researchers for data interpretation and discussion of results
Prepare, organise and manage datasets, for internal reporting and scientific publications
Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts, reports, presentations, and project deliverables and dissemination activities
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in health-related sciences
Master’s degree in Medical Research or related field
Fluency in English
Good academic and master thesis scores (desired > 8.5 of average)
Desirable:
Good knowledge of statistical analysis
Specialisation course for the handling of animals for experimental purposes.
Communication skills in Spanish and/or Catalan
Certificate to handle radioactive materials
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Knowledge for working with cell culture and mouse models
Knowledge of Molecular Biology, Histology, flow cytometry and ELISA analysis
Previous research experience in an academic or biomedical research environment.
Desirable:
Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis methods
Experience in immunoPET
Experience/knowledge in radioactive labelling of compounds for PET and radiotherapy
Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience in scientific writing and presentation of results.
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Temporary contract (Predoctoral)
