Project Manager (Rheumatology Research Group)
VHIR is seeking a Project Manager to join the Rheumatology Research Group.
The Rheumatology Research Group (GRR) is focused on translational research in immunity-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDA), mainly in the area of rheumatology. The GRR is a multidisciplinary group made up of clinical specialists, biologists, bioinformaticians and laboratory technicians. The different research lines of the GRR emphasise the use of high-performance technologies for the study at the cellular and molecular level of the immununopathology of IMIDA, mainly chronic inflammatory arthritis and autoimmune systemic diseases.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Coordinate and support operational and project-related activities within the Rheumatology Research Group.
Support the management and follow-up of ongoing projects, ensuring activities are completed on time and according to established procedures.
Prepare, manage, and maintain documentation required by Principal Investigators (PIs).
Prepare documentation, reports, presentations and other written materials required for the unit.
Coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Organise meetings, agendas and project-related follow-up activities.
Support administrative and organisational processes related to the research group.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows and organisational procedures.
Collaborate proactively with team members and other institutional departments.
Ensure proper handling and organisation of documentation and information.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
University degree in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Management, Public Relations, or related fields.
Professional proficiency in English and Spanish/Catalan.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools.
Desirable:
Postgraduate studies or Master’s degree related to project management, healthcare management, research management or similar.
Additional training in project coordination, administration or management.
Experience working in a research environment or biomedical institution.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Previous practical experience in project coordination, management or administrative support.
Ability to manage specific areas and multiple tasks effectively.
Experience coordinating projects and ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
Experience preparing reports, presentations and project documentation.
Experience coordinating operational activities.
Knowledge of institutional procedures and research project management.
Experience in biomedical research environments.
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible .
Gross annual salary: €30,750.00€
