Clinical Research Project Manager (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)
VHIR is seeking a Clinical Research Project Manager to join the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Research Group.
The candidate will contribute to the development and coordination of national and international research projects focused on innovation and technology in the fields of biomechanics, artificial intelligence applied to rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation and pain research.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Draft and support national and international research projects related to technology in neurorehabilitation, biomechanics and pain research.
Coordinate with clinicians and research staff for the collection and management of research data and study documentation.
Analyse and interpret data, contributing to internal reports, grant applications and scientific publications.
Prepare scientific documents, technical reports and grant proposals.
Present research findings at national and international scientific meetings.
Participate actively in scientific meetings and collaborative activities within national and international research networks.
Support coordination and communication activities within multidisciplinary research projects.
EU Grant Management: Managing complex grant deliverables, and consortium reporting.
Strategic Project Delivery: Define project scope, milestones, and timelines from initiation through to closure.
Financial & Resource Oversight: Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and revenue forecasting
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all deliverables adhere to strict EU regulations, GDPR, MDR/IVDR, and clinical research ethics
Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify project risks, evaluate change impacts, and implement mitigation strategies.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor of Science or a related field.
Master in Project Management (desirable)
Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
At least 3 years’ experience working in research groups.
Experience in project coordination within research environments.
Contribution to scientific publications and conference abstracts.
Management skills (analytical, organisational and time management).
Knowledge of and interest in innovation and technology applied to rehabilitation, biomechanics and artificial intelligence.
Desirable:
Computer skills for database generation and management.
Previous experience with data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, etc.).
Good skills in scientific dissemination and communication activities.
Experience using REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) for research database and survey management.
Proven hands-on attitude, flexibility and adaptability.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Proactivity (ability to work independently when necessary).
Well-organised and responsible person at work.
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
