Clinical Research Coordinator (Rheumatology Research Group)
VHIR is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work within the Rheumatology Research Group
Main responsibilities and duties:
Supporting CRFs and variables dictionaries development
Coordinating and executing all aspects of the clinical monitoring process in accordance with good clinical practice and regulatory requirements (such as data entry, queries resolution, and data curation)
Training and supporting clinical research personnel at collaborating sites in protocol procedures and implementation
Reviewing data collection for accuracy and completeness
Monitoring reports of the project status
Identifying problems in protocol implementation
Reviewing/solving regulatory issues
Interfacing with clinical investigators, medical staff, management, lab technicians, and informaticians
Reporting ongoing work and site-level problems to the Scientific Project Manager and project coordinators
Traveling to collaborating sites (if needed)
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Science
Master’s degree or Postgraduate course in clinical research or similar
Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English
Desirable:
Training in biomedical research framework
GCPs updated certificate
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
More than 2 years of experience in clinical research and/or clinical trials data monitoring
Knowledge in GCPs and regulatory (data protection, ethical committees, monitoring…)
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Highly organised
Ability to work under deadlines
Ability to work with human study participants
Proficient in MS Office and database applications
Desirable:
Knowledge in data entry
Knowledge of auditing processes
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible
Gross annual salary: €26,000.00 – 27,000.00 Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type:Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
