Assisted reproduction and gynaecological endocrinology Unit – Vall d'Hebron Hospital
The Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine Department is a world leader in terms of the quality of its care, teaching and research. For women who wish to become mothers and need technical assistance, we have a state-of-the-art assisted reproduction laboratory. In addition, we care for pregnant women, considering the mother's health and that of the future baby first and foremost, and always respecting the mother's wishes. In the Assisted Reproduction and Endocrinology Unit we are developing a clinical trial to develop a medical device that aims to improve the success of embryo transfers, and we are looking for a doctor specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with experience in the area of Assisted Reproduction to support the group of researchers involved in this study.
We are seeking a Clinical Researcher to join the Maternal-Foetal Medicine Unit
Main responsibilities and duties:
Support Principal Investigator at different stages of the clinical trials to ensure that the clinical trials follow good clinical practice.
Provide the Principal Investigator with all data required for writing the technical documentation related to the clinical trials.
Data collection, anonymisation and pre-processing for the clinical trials in coordination with the IT-VHIR Project Manager.
Support Principal Investigator in writing all technical and scientific documentation derived from the clinical trials
Identify patients eligible for inclusion in the clinical trials
Use the investigational medical device with the patients included in the clinical trials
Follow-up visits of the patients that are included in the clinical trials
Proper use, maintenance and updating of the clinical trial electronic notebook and for the proper recording of source data in the investigator's folder
Coordinate with the VHIR Project Manager for the management of purchases of consumables, analytical tests, etc.
Coordinate with the VHIR Project Manager and Principal Investigator the scientific and financial justification of the project.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Holds a degree in Medicine
Completion of specialist training (MIR)
Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Experience in the area of Assisted Reproduction and clinical research
Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English
Specific training in the subspecialty of Assisted Reproduction
Training in basic statistics

Relevant clinical experience as a medically qualified professional.
Experience in participation in research lines and/or projects.
Experience in data management, updating of databases, electronic CRFs or medical records
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, quality and safety regulations
Management of patient treatment in assisted reproduction
Skilled in surgical techniques derived from assisted reproduction treatment (follicular punctures, embryo transfers and inseminations)
Technical and communication skills
Ability to work in a team and to adapt, results-oriented and proactive

Labour conditions:
Working hours: Part-time (8 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible
Gross annual salary: €8,050.77
