Pharmacovigilance Technician
The ARO Platform provides sponsors with a comprehensive service package for the management of all activities required to conduct clinical trials and studies, from Phase I to Phase IV.
Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is seeking to recruit a Pharmacovigilance Technician to join its Academic Research Organisation (ARO) and support the development and management of pharmacovigilance activities in clinical trials.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Maintain the pharmacovigilance database.
Reconcile pharmacovigilance-related information and documentation.
Contribute to the preparation of periodic safety reports.
Collaborate with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to resolve queries related to adverse events.
Provide support in any tasks within their area of responsibility as assigned by their line manager.
Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the procedures established in the unit’s Quality Management System, while promoting and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Health Sciences.
Master's degree in Clinical Trials, Pharmacology, Clinical Research Coordination, Monitoring or a related field.
Professional proficiency in Catalan, Spanish and English.
Desirable:
Additional or specialised training in pharmacovigilance.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
At least six months of experience in the field of clinical research.
Good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Ability to work independently, with flexibility and adaptability.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
Medical writing skills.
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Open-ended contract linked to scientific and technical services.
