Clinical Research Monitor (Rheumatology Research Group)
Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution, located in Barcelona (Spain) that promotes and develops innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron.

VHIR offers a Clinical Research Monitor position looking for a self-motivated person with experience in clinical research and/or clinical trial data monitoring.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Supporting CRFs and variables dictionaries development
Coordinating and executing all aspects of the clinical monitoring process in accordance with good clinical practice and regulatory requirements (such as data entry, queries resolution, and data curation)
Training and supporting clinical research personnel at collaborating sites in protocol procedures and implementation
Reviewing data collection for accuracy and completeness
Monitoring reports of the project status
Identifying problems in protocol implementation
Reviewing/solving regulatory issues
Interfacing with clinical investigators, medical staff, management, lab technicians, and informaticians
Reporting ongoing work and site-level problems to the Scientific Project Manager and project coordinators
Traveling to collaborating sites (if needed)
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Sciences
Master’s degree in science
Fluency in spoken and written English
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
More than 4 years of experience in clinical research and/or clinical trials data monitoring
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organised
Ability to work under deadlines
Ability to work with human study participants
Proficient in word processing and database applications
Knowledge of auditing
Knowledge of good clinical practice and regulatory requirements (i.e. personal data protection)
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
Starting date: immediate incorporation.
Gross annual salary: €24,000.00 - 26,000.00 Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Temporary contract
