Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution, located in Barcelona (Spain) that promotes and develops innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron. VHIR is oriented towards finding solutions to the health problems of the citizens and has the will to contribute to the scientific, educational, social and economic development within its area of competence around the world.

VHIR is seeking a Research Technician to join the Stroke Research Group. Our group has established itself as a leader in the management, recruitment and international coordination of multicentre clinical trials, as well as in the development of patents for new thrombectomy devices and the creation of new technological solutions and digital platforms to improve the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of stroke patients. Robust strategic alliances have also been consolidated with public and private entities that ensure the viability and scalability of the research projects initiated in our group.

Required:

• Degree in Medicine

• Specialisation in Neurology

• Fluency in English and Spanish, both oral and written

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

• At least 1-year clinical experience in a Stroke Unit.

• Previous participation in EU-funded projects and other clinical research activity.

• Previous participation in projects involving artificial intelligence.

• Experience with patient follow-up through the Nora App/CMS.

• Good communication skills, able to work in a team and independently.
