Clinical Researcher (Liver Diseases Group)
We are seeking a Clinical Researcher with experience in Hepatology, to join the Liver diseases group. The particular area in which the candidate will contribute is the one dedicated to rare liver diseases. The candidate will participate in clinical projects dedicated to alpha-1 antitrypsin liver disease, having as responsibilities patient recruitment and data collection and management.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Identify, recruit and clinically assess patients eligible for research studies.
Perform study-related clinical evaluations according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Collaborate in the design, development and implementation of investigator-initiated clinical research projects.
Coordinate clinical research activities with study coordinators and research nurses.
Contribute to protocol development, ethics submissions and regulatory documentation.
Prepare abstracts, scientific manuscripts and presentations for national and international meetings.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Holds a degree in Medicine
Completion of specialist training (MIR)
Specialisation in Digestive diseases
Fluency in English, Catalan and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Relevant clinical experience as a medically qualified professional.
Experience in participation in research lines and/or projects.
Experience in the clinical management of patients with chronic liver diseases.
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:
Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical research regulations.
Knowledge of clinical databases (eCRFs, REDCap or similar).
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Part-time (20 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Temporary contract.
Duration: Until end of October.
