Research Technician (Foot and Ankle Surgery Unit / Hand Surgery Unit)
The Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is looking for a Research Technician to join the Foot & Ankle Surgery Unit and Hand Surgery Unit.
The successful candidate will provide research support across ongoing and new projects, contributing to patient data collection, database management, research project development and grant applications
Main responsibilities and duties:
Collect, organise and manage patient and research data.
Maintain and update research databases, ensuring accurate and well-organised information.
Support the design and development of new research projects.
Provide support in the preparation and submission of research grant applications.
Support research activities and documentation related to the units’ ongoing projects.
Collaborate with clinical and research teams to ensure the smooth development of research activities.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Sciences
Professional fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (C1)
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Experience in data management, including proficiency in Excel.
Knowledge of scientific publications and research processes.
Knowledge of basic statistical principles
Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Part-time (20 hours per week).
Starting date: As soon as possible
Gross annual salary: €17,181.00 - €19,00.00 Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
