New Graduate Lawyer
VHIR is offering a position for a New Graduate Lawyer in training to support the Legal Unit.
The Legal Unit ensures regulatory compliance across all institutional activities, with a particular focus on biomedical research projects and intellectual property (IP). Its main objectives are to provide legal guidance on regulatory developments affecting biomedical research and the transfer of research results to society, while supporting VHIR’s scientific community, services and operational units.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Manage administrative and contractual documentation, enabling the Unit’s lawyers to focus on specialised legal matters;
Support the Unit’s lawyers with a variety of tasks as required;
Prepare documents and communications based on instructions provided;
Manage and maintain the Unit’s documentation and filing system.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Law Degree.
Desirable:
Master’s Degree;
The Degree and/or Master’s Degree must have been completed within the last three years.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
Professional fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
Labour conditions:
Working hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week).
Starting date: October 2026.
Gross annual salary: €00,000 or Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract type: Specific contract for the acquisition of professional experience.
Contract duration: 1 year.
